Unattended

You left me unattended
Yet you ask why I retreated
All those times I reiterated
The fact that I felt neglected
It all went unheeded
All I want is to be wanted
But instead I feel untended

It’s not the first time
But there will come a time
When it’s the right time
For me to react
And when I finally decide to act
You should know I have resolved to accept your reaction
As the consequence of my action

It won’t matter anymore
When I feel no more
Whatever you decide
Would only be my guide
To who you really are
In the preparation of my courseware
For our future warfare
